About me

Having grown up in Cape Town, South Africa I have become very appreciative of my surroundings and natural world in which I have the pleasure to reside in. From a young age I have had a keen interest in wildlife, sport and travel. I used to spend hours in the bush, around my home, looking for snakes and other small animals. It is these three interests, which I prefer to photograph. I love action photography and prefer to capture common animals involved in unusual activities or behaviour. I have a love of the Kalahari Desert and spend as much time as I can photographing the animals that try to survive in this harsh environment as well as documenting the lives of a baboon population in the Cape Peninsula. I have spent hundreds of hours photographing these baboons and have been very fortunate in being accepted by the troop and to witness some awesome interaction and behaviour. Read my blog for updates on the lives of these baboons.

Extreme sport and interesting landscapes are also fields of photography that I love to capture. All images on this site are available to purchase on both paper and canvas and I do offer one on one, or small group photographic safaris in and around Cape Town. See contact details for more information.
