Photographers comments... Being offered a trip on a boat in the middle of one of the most populated Great White breeding grounds in the world was not an offer that i was going to turn down in a hurry. Armed with my trusted Canon XYZ with ABC lens I set off to attempt a capture of the infamous beasts breeching the icy waters off the False bay coast. This image was captured after about 2 hours of trawling a decoy behind the boat. Keeping a steady hand whilst on a rocking boat however proved to be the biggest challenge on the day. click here to see full gallery... |
