Photographers comments...
Spending time with a troop of baboons can reward you with some memorable and often hilarious moments, although today it seemed the joke was on me.Years spent with this troop has afforded me the opportunity to get very close and personal to the baboons. Intimacy with your subject is what most wildlife photographers strive towards so I would suggest starting in your garden or local park and become familiar with all that is there, you'll be surprised with the results.

I've always loved your baboon photographs, Lee! They are some of the best I've ever seen ... you seem to be able to capture the emotions of each baboon you photograph ... not an easy thing to do with baboons! marcela jezkova - 03.05.11
